This one-bedroom cabin rental in southern Aroostook County, Maine, along the north branch of the Meduxnekeag River is 15 by 16 feet in size and can sleep up to two guests. Inside, glampers will find a small sitting area, with a love seat and rocking chair. There is a small kitchenette provided, along with a gas stove and wood-burning stove. To the right of the kitchen, there is a small kitchen table for up to four guests. The bedroom comes furnished with a full-size bed and dresser, as well as mosquito netting and linens. A wash basin & pitcher works for a quick clean up. Outside, guests can enjoy a picnic table, a hammock, a campfire, and a gas grill, all of which are set just alongside the front porch. The river is set right alongside this cabin offering guests with the peaceful sound of its calm waves.
Luxury camping at it's finest, this property offers all the necessities and then some! It is off grid, no electricity. There is no running water, however, fresh water (10 gallons) will be provided. Additional facilities include a gas stove, and a wood-burning stove. Outdoors, guests will find a fire pit and a private, wood-fired sauna. Sauna use needs to be scheduled ahead of time. Please speak with the host if interested. Kids will enjoy the open lawn space, which provides guests with a bocce ball set and a horseshoe pit. Guests bring their own coolers.

With these calm waterways, guests can enjoy afternoons paddle boarding, and morning swims. Those looking for a hike can take the Route 11 Grindstone Scenic Byway to the impressive Mount Katahdin. Glampers can also take Route One down the Canada-United States border and experience the famed 'Million Dollar View.' Additionally, glampers will be a short drive from the city of Houlton, which serves as Aroostook's county seat and provides a historic downtown with art galleries and cozy restaurants.
