Description of Glamping Units
This secluded mountain cabin is an ideal rental for a family vacation in the woods in the Connecticut River Valley of New Hampshire, with lots of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors as well as each other's company. There is a queen size bed in one room, three twin beds in the second bedroom, a full futon in the living room, and one full bathroom. In the spring and summer, guests can enjoy the fresh air on the screened porch, while in the winter there is a fireplace in the living room to stay extra warm. The living room is a comfortable welcoming space and guests will find the kitchen attached with a stove and an oven. Outside, guests have use of an outdoor campground grill so families can enjoy home-cooked meals if they decide to skip dinner at the lodge restaurant.

Regardless of which kind of cabin is reserved, guests at this beautiful lodge have a huge variety of facilities and amenities to make their stay here more comfortable. Each cabin has a fireplace and a porch, perfect for relaxing at the end of a great day outside. The bed and breakfast cabins have breakfast included in the rate.
The lodge has a basketball hoop and small court, as well as soccer goals, a volleyball net, two clay tennis courts, tetherball, horseshoe pits, and even a large open field for games. Kids of all ages are sure to love staying here with all there is to do outside! Post Pond is on the property, and here guests can go fishing, boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Beach towels and beach are provided for guests to enjoy the sandy beach, while gentle slopes into the water for beginning swimmers and docks farther out for the more advanced. Dog owners will be thrilled to hear there is even a dog beach for the canine guests.
Lastly, the lodge has a restaurant that is open every day. Breakfast and lunch are served every day, while dinner is available Wednesday through Sunday. The Sunday Buffet by the pond is a special treat that guests always enjoy.

Lyme, New Hampshire, is beautiful no matter what time of the year it is. From the colorful fall foliage to the crisp white snow, the spring blossoms to the summer blooms, glampers will love their unique getaway in southern New Hampshire. While Lyme is a small town, it offers guests peace and quiet but is just a short distance from Hanover, Lebanon, and the rest of the Upper Valley. Lyme is home to the Dartmouth Skiway, a small section of the Appalachian Trail, and the Chaffee Natural Conservation Area. The property is five hours and 30 minutes from New York City, four hours from Montreal, three hours and 30 minutes from Hartford, and only two hours and 30 minutes from Boston. Lyme is a beautiful place for an outdoor getaway all-year-round. In the winter, guests have the Dartmouth Skiway right outside their door. Here glampers have miles of skiing trails as well as a terrain park; with 30 trails over 100 acres, guests of all abilities will be able to have some winter mountain fun.
Once things warm up, guests can really enjoy all the recreational facilities of the lodge - basketball, tennis, volleyball, soccer, tetherball, and even a horseshoe pit. Guests also have access to Post Pond, great for beginner and advanced swimmers. The lodge supplies beach towels and beach toys so guests can relax and the kids can have fun. If glampers are looking for a change of scenery from Post Pond, they should be sure to visit Chase Beach for some good family fun. Here glampers can enjoy the refreshing water and bring a picnic with them to enjoy in the afternoon.
Outside the lodge in the surrounding area, there are some great hikes. Holt's Ledge Trail, part of the Appalachian Trail, is a beautiful, somewhat easy hike which leads glampers to some amazing views atop Holt's Ledge. The complete hike to the top, including a small detour to Trapper John's Shelter, is about 2 miles. Plan to spend a few hours enjoying the views.

Pets are welcome at the lodge, but the host asks that they be kept on a leash when outside of the cabins and that the owners clean up after their pets. Pets are not allowed in the main lodge; however, service animals are always welcome.
