Molalla, Oregon is a charming city settled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range in Clackamas County, Oregon. It is named after the Molalla River, which flows just a little way to the east of the city. The Molalla River Corridor is a great spot for outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and hiking. For the best view of the river corridor and surrounding countryside, head over to the local rocky promontory of Table Rock. Other natural points of interest in the area include Mt Hood National Forest, Silver Falls State Park, and the many nearby farms and ranches. There are a few large cities close by - Portland, Oregon’s largest city, is just under an hour away, as is the state capital of Salem.
