This cabin rental near Portland boasts panoramic views of the river, which is often full of salmon and trout. The cabin itself, which is 100 years old, is quite historic. It boasts a large master bedroom, a living room, a large kitchen/dining room, a sleeping loft, and a bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with two wood-burning stoves, a refrigerator, a hot plate, a microwave, and a washer and dryer. There is also a big sitting porch that looks out along the creek and is perfect for a nighttime glass of wine or for reading a good book. This cabin comfortably sleeps up to four people.

This cabin is quite secluded and private. Though the caretaker lives on the property, the closest neighbors are more than a mile away.

Because this cabin has been within the family for generations, and they've resisted anyone taking over the land in the past, the property is made up of virgin first and second growth forest.

Tucked away in Willamette Valley, this glamping site is Oregon is just a one-hour drive away from Portland. The glamping site is actually located near Trout Creek and the Mollala River, which is a tributary of the Columbia River. The property is family-owned, and it boasts more than 250 acres filled with forest, streams, and waterfalls. This little paradise is so close to Portland that it’s the perfect place to escape to for a bit, all the while not having to go too far from home.

While staying along Trout Creek, most glampers will find it quite fitting to go fishing, especially since the river is often teeming with salmon and trout. (Please keep in mind that a fishing license is required.) Birdwatchers will also enjoy the array of species in the area.
