Here, families and friends can spend the day skiing or snowboarding on the miles of trails each resort has. Guests of all ages and abilities should be able to find something on the mountain that suits their fancy. The Timberline Lodge offers guests the chance for skiing in the spring. It is the only year-round ski resort in the world!

When the snow has melted, a whole new set of outdoor activities become possible. The Mt. Hood National Forest has miles and miles of hiking trails, acres of woodlands, and an abundance of waterfalls to explore. Popular trails within the National Forest include Ramona Falls, Zig Zag Canyon Overlook Hike, Mirror Lake Hike, Elk Meadows Loop Hike, Hidden Lake Hike, and many more. Other days, guests might prefer to spend their day on the river across from the property. The Sandy River is a great place to swim, fish, kayak, or canoe. The kids will love the rope swing that is on the banks of the river near the property.
