Book a weekend getaway OR: cabin rental in Rhododendron, Oregon

This rustic cabin is located on an 80 acre property in Rhododendron, Oregon, near Mt. Hood, and is perfect for four guests looking for a secluded weekend getaway. As guests enter the cabin, they will find two cozy twin beds, as well as a queen-size bed in the loft. Glampers will have access to a private composting outhouse and can use the nearby creek or river to bathe for a true glamping experience. Linens are provided for the beds, as well as Pendelton quilts and wool blankets. Guests should be aware of the 10 minute hike, from the parking area, in order to reach the cabin. The cabin is off-the-grid, however, the hosts provide a generator that powers a few lights, as well as electrical outlets to charge devices. The hosts also provide candles and lanterns.

Glampers will adore curling up in front of a toasty, wood-burning stove as a dusting of snow transforms the natural surrounding beauty into a frozen winter wonderland. Large luminous windows flood the space with natural light and offer striking views of vibrant vegetation. Guests will be lulled by the peaceful sound of the babbling creek that runs through the property.

Outside, a wooden deck awaits guests, where they can sit back and relax after a long day of exploring the great outdoors. There is an impressive cascading waterfall just around the corner that can be reached after a leisurely stroll through the property’s scenic grounds.

The spacious deck is a great nook to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning or a crisp glass of wine as the day comes to an end. On a chilly night, glampers can gather around the fire pit and warm up as they gaze at the twinkling stars above. When the clouds roll in, boredom is simply not an option. Guests can escape to the pages of a novel or gather around the table with a board game.
