This stunning log cabin in Tygh Valley is perfect for a unique and luxury glamping rental experience for eight in Oregon. The beautiful rustic log and rock house is hidden away from it all on a private section of the White River Canyon. Enjoy the sunset behind the picturesque basalt rimrock of the canyon from the second level deck. This space is truly off the grid and is powered by a self-sustaining micro-hydroelectric system.

This cabin contains two bedrooms and can house up to nine guests. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, the loft has four twin beds, and the common space has a queen futon, a single futon and a couch. There are also two bathrooms.

Guests will have access to the privately owned section of the canyon, including trails along the river, picnicking spots, swimming holes, and a beautiful lodge where guests can BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine on the deck while catching the last evening rays in the canyon.

The Deschutes River whitewater rafting hub of Maupin is just a 10-minute drive away. The lodge is two hours from Portland and 30 minutes from The Dalles.

For those looking for the chance to unwind and make the most of the secluded location, they can simply enjoy sitting on the deck listening to bird songs and watching the deer and other wildlife wandering by. Guest are free to explore the canyon upriver from the cabin. There are also great swimming holes along the river on the property. If guests would like to fish, the Deschutes River and Pine Hollow Reservoir are both 10 minutes away. They also have great trout and bass fishing on our lakes in Grass Valley.

There is a refundable security deposit of $500.

Fishing in the White River is completely off limits to guests. Wilderness Unlimited has exclusive fly fishing rights on this section of river. Please contact them directly if interested in a membership.

Guests should print the following house rules and bring them with them.

Please respect and appreciate the space with your best stewardship. The hosts cherish it and love to share it with guests.

Please strip the sheets off the beds.

Please clean dishes before leaving and put everything back how it was found.

Take any recycling away. The hosts do not have recycling capabilities.
