Umpqua

Umpqua is a small community in Douglas County, Oregon, built right at the confluence between Calapooya Creek and the Umpqua River. Just 25 minutes away is Roseburg, which is the most populous city in Douglas County. Umpqua National Forest lies to the east, while the Pacific coast can be found just under two hours’ drive to the west. Roseburg has many places to visit, including several wineries, distilleries, vineyards, and breweries. There’s also the Roseburg Municipal Golf Course right in the middle of town, which is ideal for an afternoon on the green. For some outdoor time, head to Watson Falls or Clearwater Falls, two nearby waterfalls, Stewart Park, or Umpqua Hot Springs. What a great place for a relaxing vacation!
