The most popular activities are kayaking, canoeing, and boating on the Siltcoos Lake, the biggest of all the coastal lakes. A three-mile kayak trip down the Siltcoos River comes highly recommended by the host of this luxury yurt. Glampers will pass through a temperate rain forest and the Oregon dunes, which will eventually lead them to the beach. For glamping fisherman, Siltcoos Lake is the place to be, and children will never tire of playing on the rope swing that extends out over the water. In addition, the aforementioned dunes are yet another source of fun, where glampers can ride a 4x4 ATV, a quad bike, a dirt bike, a sandrail, or even horses through the dunes. Other activities include crabbing, hiking, and beachcombing.
Venture up to Salem for a fun day trip, where glampers will find many interesting sightseeing opportunities, such as the Oregon State Capitol, the Elsinore Theater, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, A.C. Gilbert’s Discovery Village, the Oregon Garden, and so much more.
