Nearby lakes and rivers in the park and also adjacent to the property are popular for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, and fishing. At larger lakes, guests can rent a boat for the day and explore the area from a different angle.

Winter months in the region are popular among visitors and locals alike because of the intense snowfall that provides great terrain for winter sports. Ski resorts open their doors and attract downhill skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, and flatter terrain down the mountain is more popular for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, exploring on snowmobiles, and eve ice skating!

If glampers choose to take a break from the outdoors they can venture into the nearby town of Glacier that boasts some restaurant, bars, and shopping. Seattle is located just two hours to the south and is home to excellent museums, historical monuments, boat tours, restaurants, bars, nightlife and shopping. Canada is also just a short drive to the north and Abbotsford might be a small town worth exploring.
