This bed and breakfast accommodation is small and intimate, and is located in Nine Mile Falls, Washington, where it is situated on a private five-acre property set on the bank of the Spokane River and surrounded by the natural splendor of Riverside State Park. Encompassing 11,162 acres of conifer forests, streams, lakes, marshes, and shoreline along the Spokane River, the Little Spokane River, and Lake Spokane, the park is home to a variety of wildlife and birds, including white-tailed deer, warblers, canyon wrens, ospreys, and bald eagles.

It also provides guests with a wide range of venues for outdoor recreation, including 55 miles of hiking and biking trails, 25 miles of horseback riding trails, a 600-acre off-road vehicle area, two rock climbing areas, and three watercraft launches. The trails of the park range from a one-mile ADA-accessible hiking trail to the 40-mile, mixed-use Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail, which is within walking distance of the property and takes guests all the way from the park's Nine Mile Recreation Area to the border of Idaho.

Guests will find a variety of outdoor activity options on both land and water in the surrounding Riverside State Park. On land, guests can go hiking and biking on 55 miles of trails and horseback riding on 25 miles of trails, with an obstacle course and a 60-foot-round pen available for use as well. The trails include the 40-mile, mixed-use Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail, which is within walking distance of the property.

While exploring the trails, guests will also enjoy ample opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing, with mammals and birds such as white-tailed deer, warblers, canyon wrens, ospreys, and bald eagles to be spotted.

In the winter, guests can also go snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on the park's trails. For snowmobiling and all-terrain vehicle riding, the park provides guests with a 600-acre off-road vehicle area. Rock climbing sites can be found in the Deep Creek area of the park.

Guests can go kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding on the Little Spokane River. All three types of watercraft are available to rent directly from the park's Nine Mile Recreation Area. Guests can also go boating, fishing, and water skiing on Lake Spokane, as well as kayaking and rafting on the nearby Skagit River.
