Mentone

The charming small town of Mentone on top of Lookout Mountain in northeast Alabama is a well-preserved example of 19th-century American life. And of course, with its privileged site on top of a mountain, the views here are truly spectacular. Head to the incredible Desoto Falls, a short drive from Mentone for the rewarding sight of 104-foot falls. TAnd don't miss the nearby DeSoto State Park, which is ideal for hiking, biking, swimming, and picnicking.
