In terms of pure sightseeing-style tourism, Eureka Springs is a relative treasure trove of things to do despite its size. Guests can spend some time at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, where volunteers rescue and rehabilitate abandoned and injured big cats (such as lions, tigers, leopards, and much more). Onyx Cave is also a popular destination, famous for its wondrous interior and historical importance. Guests can also join a spooky ghost tour of some of the town's old, haunted buildings or set up a picnic, take a walk, or go kayaking on the beautiful Lake Leatherwood, the town's closest body of water. Guests should bring along their boat and set off on the inspiring Beaver Lake, where fishing (particularly for bass and trout) is a top-notch way to spend time. There are also plenty of recreational beaches along the lake's edge. Naturally, White River back at the property is always beckoning and makes for a stunning canoe trip due to its clear water and impressive bluffs.
