Black Fox Den is private, secluded and directly situated in old growth forest on 16 private acres in the Ouachita Mountains. It is not a campground - there are 2 tent glamps 1/8th mile apart and the owner's house on property. There are a mile of private trails onsite for hiking, mountain biking and e-biking.
Camp is adjacent to a public park with 10 miles of trails, a skills track, 18 holes of disc golf, kite flying / stargazing field, RC plane and car tracks.
2 miles from the Waterworks Trailhead with 31.5+ miles of IMBA designed and rated Northwoods Trails - Green, Blue and Black single track, multi-track, flow trails, jump lines and the Lucky 13 expert section. Hiking is also permitted and the scenery is amazing!
3 miles / 7 minute scenic drive to downtown Hot Springs and the National Park visitor's center, thermal springs, more trails, mountain vistas, restaurants, art galleries, spas, boutique shops, sightseeing spots and tours.
20 minute drive to lakes Ouachita, Hamilton and Catherine, Garvan Woodland Gardens, crystal digging, Mid-America Science Museum and Magic Springs Amusement and Water Park.
