Charming and Romantic Cottage for Couples with a Private Pool on the Mississippi Delta, Mississippi
Tucked away on a rural farm in Shaw, Mississippi, right in the middle of the Mississippi Delta, this charming and romantic cottage for couples provides the perfect serene getaway. Guests can spend a lot of time outdoors in the private pool or exploring the beautiful rolling fields of green. This studio-style cabin can comfortably accommodate four guests and has two full-size beds and one full bathroom. There is one bathroom that features a toilet, a sink, and a shower/bathtub combination. Linens and towels are provided.
Upon entering the bright and airy cottage, guests will climb the short set of stairs up to the patio deck with vintage metal chairs. After entering the darling green door, guests will find themselves inside the studio cottage lined with windows, allowing sunlight to gracefully stream through and softly awaken sleeping glampers and illuminate the unique space throughout the day. The cottage features wood-paneled walls, built-in bookshelves with a selection of books, and a brown leather reading chair. In the cozy kitchenette, guests are encouraged to utilize the mini-fridge, the coffeemaker, the deep sink, the stovetop burners, the microwave, and the toaster, while looking out the large square window at the beauty surrounding the cottage.
After passing through the studio, guests will find themselves on the spacious, screened-in porch that houses cushioned wicker furniture, a desk, and easy access out to the private pool and tennis court. Guests are sure to feel right at home during their serene stay at the cottage.
Features on-site include central air conditioning and heating so that guests remain comfortable no matter what time of year they choose to stay at the cottage. A television in the common area hosts cable channels and Wi-Fi can be found throughout the rental.
The bathroom comes equipped with a hairdryer, hangers, and shampoo, along with provided linens and towels.
Outside, guests will discover a private pool, tennis courts, and more than enough parking.

In Boyle, Mississippi, bird lovers will enjoy exploring Dahomey National Wildlife Refuge, home to approximately 10,000 acres of forest land that house migrating birds from all over. Hunters with refuge hunting and fishing annual permits are welcome to hunt in the area from October-April, where they will discover deer, squirrel, rabbit, quail, turkey, and wild hog. Fishing in the area is available year-round with the appropriate permit previously mentioned. The area provides the perfect place to hike, view wildlife, and learn more about the nearby environment.
For a day on the lake, glampers should be sure to venture over to Lake Chicot State Park, just one hour away, near Greenville, Mississippi. The State Park offers a 20-mile long oxbow lake that provides yet another dreamy location for amazing bird watching, fishing, and boating.
