Tarrant County is located in northeastern Texas, including the notable cities of Forth Worth, Arlington, and Grapevine. Fort Worth and Arlington are the most well known of the three cities, and glamping in Tarrant County will lead you to a number of historical and cultural attractions, such as the Top O’Hill Terrace and the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame in Arlington and the Fort Worth Cultural District and Sundance Square in Fort Worth. Grapevine, on the other hand, is known for—you guessed it—its wineries. You may not have known this before, but Texas is the fifth-largest wine producing state in the country. Glampers should definitely pencil in a stop at one of Grapevine’s wine tasting rooms or a ride on the wine train, the Historic Grapevine Railroad, while luxury camping in Tarrant County, and can stop by the Tarrant CAD to sort out all of those bureaucratic peeves . For some outdoors adventures, head to the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, Trinity Park, or Lake Worth where you can spend the day hiking, biking, picnicking, and boating with your fellow glampers.
