Bainbridge

Bainbridge is known locally as the bass capital of Georgia, and this is certainly an alluring drawcard for any keen fisherman. However, there is so much more to this charming Southern town than this. Indeed, this picturesque town is filled with historic homes, excellent dining, a variety of interesting shops, and fantastic access to nature. It is close to both Flint River and Lake Seminole, where you can go hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, and much more. Check out the tiny but fascinating Decatour County Museum to learn more about the area, or head to Silver Lake Wildlife Management Area and keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, especially alligators!
