In the full bathroom adjoined to the main-level master bedroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, a combination bathtub and shower, a new granite-top vanity, and modern slate tiling. The second full bathroom upstairs has two sinks, a toilet, a large vanity with drawers and cabinets, and a combination bathtub and shower. The half bathroom in the basement includes a toilet and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.
In the open and comfortable living room, guests will find a plush sofa, two lounge chairs, a TV, a DVD player, shelves stocked with family board games, a small fireplace by an exposed stone wall, and an open floor plan which seamlessly transitions to the kitchen and dining area. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, a stove, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a toaster. The kitchen also has a coffeemaker, a selection of pantry items, wood cabinets and drawers, granite countertops, and a breakfast island with four bar stools. The dining area includes a wood table with six dining chairs and a beautiful view outside the double glass doors of the Cartecay River and scenery.
In the finished basement, guests will find an additional entertainment and gathering area with a foosball table, an air hockey table, a large sectional couch, two comfortable lounge chairs, a TV, toys and games, a coffee table, three end tables, and a door leading to outside. Other amenities include air conditioning and heating, a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, a telephone, a hairdryer, and enough parking space to fit an RV, a boat, or a trailer.
Outside, guests will find several spacious decks and outdoor sitting areas to spend sunny days gathered outside by the river. On the lower deck outside the basement door, guests will find a steaming hot tub, an outdoor table with four chairs, and two staircases leading either down to the river or to the upper deck.
Down by the river, guests will find a fire pit with several patio chairs surrounded by trees and beautiful natural scenery. Two adult kayaks, two children’s kayaks, and several inner tubes are also available for guests to use on the river. Guests looking to experience some southern hospitality can visit downtown Ellijay or Blue Ridge (about 30 mins away) for restaurants, boutiques and specialty shops, and plenty of festivals and local events. Ellijay blends small-town charm and outdoor adventure for a welcoming and thrilling experience for everyone who has the pleasure to visit. Guests can explore the town squares and wander into the variety of unique local boutiques which feature specialty products such as Himalayan salt crystals, handmade jewelry, natural cooking oils, and distinctive crafts and gifts.
Afterward, guests can enjoy a cup of coffee at the Ellijay Coffeehouse or indulge in a sweet treat at Abby’s Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt. In the fall, the entire community welcomes visitors for the town’s renowned apple picking season which features the town-wide annual Georgia Apple Festival and the Apple Arts on the Square events. Guests can even undertake the eight-and-a-half-mile hike to the top Springer Mountain where hikers can see panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. There is hiking on the Appalachian Trail or many various trails nearby. Zip lining, ATV riding, horseback riding, fly fishing, hunting, gun ranges, petting zoos, and organic farms can all be found near the cabin for the outdoor enthusiast!

The close-by Coosawattee River ends at Carters Lake where guests will find a full-service marina and boat ramps. Pets are $75 plus tax each pet and are only permitted with prior approval.
A nightly fee of $50 plus tax will be incurred for each additional guest over 10 guests total, including for children.
Guests must submit a fully refundable security deposit. Large groups may require an additional amount added to the security deposit.
