This rustic log cabin is located near the mountains in Boone, North Carolina, and can accommodate eight guests. There are two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a flat-screen television. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and patio access. In the first full bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a double sink vanity, a combination shower and bathtub, and an attached walk-in closet. In the second full bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a shower, and a sink. In the half bathroom, there is a toilet. Linens and towels are provided.

In the living room, guests will find two sleeper sofas, a coffee table, a television, and a rocking chair. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a stove, a refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher, a coffee-maker, ad a toaster-oven. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, cable television with movie channels, and a washer and dryer for longer stays.

Outside, there is a fenced backyard, and a deck accessible by each floor with amazing views of the Appalachian Mountains.

The cabin resides in a gated neighborhood community where there is lots of nature, ponds, and even wildlife spotted from time to time. Tucked within its own private fenced-in backyard lawn, the property features two spacious patios--and patio furniture--accessible by each floor. On one patio, there is an outdoor grill for guests wanting to barbecue. The kitchen is also fully stocked for basic cooking needs. There are a washer and dryer on premises for longer stays and guests needing to run a load or two of laundry. There is Wi-Fi service available as well as cable television with movie channels. The cabin has central air-conditioning and heating throughout and a stove fireplace for chillier nights in the mountains.

The Appalachian Mountains have many beautiful scenic lookouts for photographers and those who just enjoy views. A short drive from the cabin, there is Blowing Rock and the Pisgah National Forest where guests can hike trails. For family entertainment, there is the Tweetsie Railroad and the Wild West-themed park and playground. For those who love caves and minerals, visit the Linville Caverns to see formations of stalactites and stalagmites. For greater thrills, guests can visit Hawksnest Ziplines, and strap in and ride three miles, with two of the nine cables reaching over 2,000 feet above the trees and creeks. A quick drive to downtown Boone, guests will find cafes, the Mast General Store, and antique shopping. Students of the nearby Appalachian State University can be seen roaming off-campus, studying at one of the numerous coffee shops.
