This cabin is located in Hayesville, a small town in the western portion of North Carolina. The town is surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest, a large federally-protected area that covers the western part of the state all the way to the Tennessee and North Carolina border. The cabin has the Hiwassee River flowing through the backyard. The Hiwassee River is a large river that starts in northern Georgia and flows into the Tennessee River. The closest airport is Chattanooga Airport, which is two hours to the west in Tennessee.

The Hiwassee River runs through the back of the property, so there is plenty of water sports available. A kayak is on the property and guests can take it out onto the river. Other activities include, but aren’t limited to, boating, jet skiing, swimming, and fishing. Glampers looking to stay dry can head into the Nantahala National Forest, where there are plenty of hiking and biking trails along the Appalachian Mountains. Additionally, there are four golf courses within 20 minutes as well as a new casino 15 minutes away by car.
