This spacious cabin is located in the middle of lush green trees and soaring mountains near Highlands, North Carolina. This accommodation has six bedrooms, a loft, and a den to sleep up to a total of 18 guests. There is a master bedroom with a king-size bed and four bedrooms with queen-size beds on the second floor. Guests won’t have to worry about scheduling shower times as there are three full bathrooms available on the second floor. The bedroom on the main level has two single beds and accommodates those with limited mobility. There is a full bathroom on the main level. In addition to the bedrooms, there is a loft with two bunk beds and a pull-out trundle that can comfortably sleep up to six guests. There is a den with a pull-out trundle, which sleeps up to two guests. Children will enjoy a special kids cave in the home to escape to a secret hiding place.

The spacious kitchen is stocked with appliances and cooking necessities, including two coffee machines (a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig), microwave, blender, cookware, and condiments, seasoning and spices. The vista outside the kitchen highlights one of the many spectacular views of the trees and mountains that keep this cabin tucked away in nature.

The 3,500 square foot home boasts an open floor plan and provides plenty of space for guests to converse and relax around the kitchen island and dining area. The long polished dining table seats up to 14 people and the breakfast bar can seat an additional six hungry glampers. There is also a smaller dining table in the kitchen that seats up to six.

Guests will feel cozy in the homey cabin with the warm decor and picturesque views. There is a screened porch with seating for relaxing in the fresh air, an exterior deck with a BBQ, Adirondack chairs to relax in under the grapevines, and a site to have a campfire and roast marshmallows.

Amenities include WiFi, TV, heating and air conditioning, gas fireplace, linens and towels, a collection of CDs, DVDs, games and books, full use of all kitchenware and appliances, outdoor BBQ, and plenty of recommendations for activities around the area from the gracious hosts.

Glampers will enjoy disconnecting in the center of nature during a serene stay at the cabin. The lodge is perfect for large groups, yoga retreats, or family and friends get-togethers. Guests are welcome to use their very own spacious kitchen for family-style dinners and have access to the outdoor amenities including the outdoor fireplace, BBQ, and hammocks. There is an outdoor swing set for children and hammocks under the trees. A private trail will lead guests 15 minutes to the Chattooga River with areas to picnic, trails to continue hiking, and swimming holes to take a dip. Parking is available on site.

This serene cabin is tucked away between the small towns of Cashiers and Highlands in North Carolina. It is hidden on a private cul-de-sac with little traffic. The lodge is a gem located in the surrounding beauty of Chattahoochee National Forest, Nantahala National Forest, and the Great Smoky Mountains. The closest major airport is Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and is just over an hour drive to the cabin. Asheville Regional Airport is about 60 miles from the lodge - about an hour and a half's drive.

There is a fantastic hiking trail (Chattooga River Trail) which can be accessed by a path right from the front door. There are also plenty of other outdoor activities for guests to do and the hosts kindly provide a list. Along with sublime nature in the area, glampers can drive east to the town of Cashiers or west to the town of Highlands. Both are only a 20-minute drive from the cabin. They boast more nature-filled activities with trails to explore and waterfalls to discover, including Silver Run Falls, Rainbow Falls, Dry Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Cullasaja Falls. There is a farmer’s market in Cashiers every day to pick up fresh produce during the stay.
