Located just minutes from the Appalachian Trail, it can accommodate up to four guests with its queen-size bed and its two-person foldout sofa bed and it comes with a fully equipped kitchen that features a stove, a microwave oven, and refrigerator. Situated on the French Broad River, this property is ideally located one mile west of Hot Springs in Madison County, North Carolina. The cabins have been built near an old limestone mine and are over 100 years old but they have been completely remodeled to provide a comfortable and relaxing getaway near the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabins are only a 20-minute drive from Spring Creek and about a four-hour drive from Charlotte, The Appalachian Trail runs right through Hot Springs’ Bridge Street while the town itself offers guests fine dining, and an array of outdoor activities to enjoy. Hot Springs offers a wide range of activities and guests will find plenty to do whether they want to explore the outdoors or simply relax in the beautiful surroundings. On the property itself, there is a great place to fish in the nearby French Broad River while white water rafting, horseback riding, ad hiking can all be enjoyed within the area. Many visitors take advantage of the Appalachian Trail which goes right through Hot Springs and there are several spas and therapeutic springs which are a must-visit when in the area. Not far from the cabins are the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Chimney Rock Park where guests can check out the mountain biking and hiking trails and admire the scenery from the many vantage points.
