This charming Marshall accommodation is ideal for a peaceful getaway in North Carolina. Yurts are traditionally used by Asian nomadic peoples to be taken down and moved, however, guests will love the permanent setting of this NC glamping retreat. Glampers will have two plush double beds and a lovely bathroom which even features a gorgeous claw-foot tub. Linens and towels are kindly provided.

The hosts provide several thoughtful touches to ensure a great stay in North Carolina including Wi-Fi, an indoor fireplace, cable TV, heating, air conditioning, and a tasty breakfast. Guests will also have kitchen facilities with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, and all the necessary plates and utensils.

Outside, guests have a fabulous elevated decking area and a BBQ where they can cook up some treats in the evening after a day of adventures in nature!

COVID-19 Actions

All flat surfaces and those often used (light switches, door knobs, kitchen handles, bathroom tub, toilet, and sink, remote control, etc) are being disinfected with either A Lysol spray or 10% bleach solution. As much as we revel in meeting guests, please understand that we may find ourselves a little more secluded than normal. Fortunately, the farm provides acres of fresh outdoor air to enjoy! So we may see you out and about on walks. Finally, we ask that when you depart from your stay, please use the provided bleach solution spray to spray down anything you used/touched before we come in to do our regular cleaning. Thanks in advance!

The hosts ask that guests keep in mind that the location of the yurt is in the country. It is not uncommon to hear coyotes or gunshots at times, which echo through the mountains. Neither of these are a threat to guests, just part of the experience.

Be kind to the environment and take care of the surroundings.

As vegetables, fruit, and mushrooms ripen in the gardens, guests will be welcome to pick lettuce, blueberries, shiitakes, etc.
