ACCESS: The home is located only 1.5 miles off the 4-lane divided highway. The road is paved all the way to the property. The driveway is paved and the carport at the entrance to the house is wide enough for two cars. Even though the house is three levels, you enter on the main level, there are no steps, simply get out of the car and step into the front door.

RESTRICTIONS: Minimum age of the primary renter is 30. This home does not allow guests under the age of 18 and pets are also not allowed. We do not allow entertaining for anyone who is not a guest.

NUMBER OF GUESTS: The basic rental rate permits a total of two guests that only use the main level. Any overnight guests over two will be subject to an additional fee and that at no time will there be any more than six overnight guests. The fee for additional guests over two is $30 per guest, per night.

RENTAL WEEK: The generally accepted rental week from May through October is from Saturday to Saturday. This is our preferred rental period. Bookings for 7 days or less must be within a Saturday to Saturday week. Bookings for more than 7 days, but less than 12 days can only be over one Saturday night. Bookings for more than 12 days or November through April have more flexibility, but still need owner’s approval before a booking can be confirmed.

EXTENDED STAYS: Bookings longer than one month require pre-approval and a custom quote.

HOT TUB: Use of the outdoor hot tub is optional. The fee is $125 for the first week and $50 per week thereafter for longer stays. Please note that the outdoor spa is unavailable from December through April and the fireplaces are unavailable from May through September. Also, note that the hot tub may be unavailable due to an unforeseen maintenance issue.

CLEANING FEE: Our cleaning fee is based on the actual charge from the cleaning service. This is done to encourage renters to leave the house as clean as possible and to have the charge reflect the actual work required. The minimum cleaning fee of $150 is for only two guests, when the downstairs bedrooms and bath are not used. If the downstairs is used, there will be an additional charge over the $150 minimum. Any additional charge, not paid up-front will be deducted from the deposit refund or invoiced separately.

WINTER RENTALS: Generally speaking, this area gets two or three snows a year amounting to more than a few inches. Snow and ice could make getting in and out of the home difficult. The city plows the roads up to within about 100 yards from the house. Most four-wheel drive vehicles can make it through the unplowed road, but normal passenger vehicles will have difficulty, especially if the driver is not used to driving on mountain roads. It is strongly recommended that the renter only make a booking during the winter months if they have a four-wheel drive vehicle. If it is necessary to get in and out of the house on a daily basis, the renter should be prepared to deal with these conditions. On even rarer occasions the power could be temporarily interrupted due to weather. The renter understands that the owner is not responsible for weather conditions or power outages and the renter accepts these risks. If the renter is unwilling or unable to gain access to the house due to weather, no refunds will be granted. If the renter is unable to leave on the scheduled departure date, the renter will be liable for the additional rental period.

MOTORCYCLES: We only allow one motorcycle to be one the property or in a booking party.

Be kind to the environment and take care of the surroundings.
