Description of Glamping Units
This romantic luxury tree house rental and retreat is located on an eco-friendly property—and farm!—in Walhalla, South Carolina, and can accommodate two guests, perfect for a couples getaway or a honeymoon trip. It comes with an antique, hand painted king-size bed, as well as a bathroom with indoor plumbing and an outdoor shower.
Nestled amid 40 private acres of farmland and woodlands, this glamping property boasts gardens, untouched forests, plenty of fauna, beautiful white oaks, red oaks, hickory, and dogwood trees, creeks, and 2.5 miles of trails. Other amenities of this luxurious tree house rental include a fireplace, heating and air conditioning, an outdoor rope bed for relaxing in, a two-person hammock, chandeliers and antique furnishings, vintage board games, a record player, a treetop dining room with an ice box, and a propane barbecue.
Prepare to enjoy locally roasted coffee on vintage fine china in the tree house each and every morning. A dinner can be prepared with the fruits of this farm itself for an additional fee (please request at time of booking). Guests are advised to bring a cooler with food and drinks—or enjoy the host's list of local fine dining favorites. Glampers will, however, be able to sample muscadines from the property's "tiny vineyard" when in season, too.
The hosts live on this property in the main house, but unlike most tree houses that are typically located close to the primary residence, this tree house is secluded in the middle of the woods, and guests will have 100% privacy, including their own private little path from the parking area to the tree house.
The tree house is for adults only and is not pet-friendly. Read More

This tree house was designed by the hosts' very talented son, Seth, and his father, Larry, one of the hosts, is also a licensed custom home builder who has been building and remodeling homes for over 40 years in Upstate South Carolina. They both love creating masterpieces, and this luxury tree house rental is one of their very best. Meanwhile, the other host, Seth's mother, Regina, is one of the top-producing real estate agents in Oconee County.
The hosts both work full-time and live in the main house on the property, but glamper may see them around the farm occasionally if they are not traveling.
There is a security deposit of $250, and the following are the tree house's general rules:
1. Please remove shoes before entering the tree house.
2. Guests must take any trash they create with them when they leave.
3. Feel free to enjoy red wine anywhere besides on top of the white sheets/rugs & furnishings. Spills happen to the best of us, and guests will be charged for damages (and given a bad review if they leave without talking to the hosts about the damage).
4. The farm isn't child-proof, and the treehouse was built for adults, so children are not allowed.
5. The hosts love animals, but they also take pet allergies seriously. No pets allowed.
6. Upon check-out, please try to leave the treehouse clean, the way it was found.
7. If guests plan to take professional photography (anything besides social media) during their stay, please let the hosts know in advance.
8. The only two places on site guests are asked not to explore are the Main House, as this is where the hosts live, and Vinyl Services (our construction company's warehouse).
9. Please allow the hosts to do all of the harvesting—don't touch the crops.
The hosts deeply thank guests for the cooperation with the aforementioned rules. Read More
