Paysandú

A state in western Uruguay, Paysandu is home to one of the largest metropolises in the country. Those visiting the city will have access to a range of interesting attractions, including along Uruguay River that serves as a natural border to Argentina. The Uruguay River is where you’ll find Yucuma Falls, a long-stretching waterfall with emerald colored water. You can also enjoy attractions inside the city, including visiting a number of museums. The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary is famous for hosting a huge organ. You can get even more of the city’s music by visiting the Uruguay Amphitheater next to Municipal Beach. Home to open-air concerts, the venue is a great location to enjoy drinks on a sunny day.
