Tacuarembó

A town in the north parts of Uruguay, Tacuarembó is a quaint location with 50,000 inhabitants. There are plenty of vibrant activities in and out of Tacuarembó. One of them is visiting the nearby Valle Eden. There, you’ll find the Carlos Gardel Museum. The museum is dedicated to the tango singer, with several documents, newspapers, and other artifacts on display. You can also visit The Launderers’ Lagoon. The massive park is a great place to get away from people and enjoy hearty picnics by the water. Nature lovers will love visiting the Fern Cave. The touristic spot is raw, offering no infrastructure to support visitors without a bit of hard work. That said, it’s certainly an experience you should indulge in if you’re into big challenges with even bigger rewards.
