One one side of the camp, there are cultivated gardens and a swimming pool, while the other side leading to the main living area is filled with more natural bush. The deck area is set amongst the tamarind trees to allow for the passage of wildlife within the camp. There are 3 room types:

Classic Chalets - 8 African flavored luxury, canvas tents with en-suite bathrooms with a flush toilets and powerful, hot water showers. There is a choice of two twin beds or one king size bed.

Honeymoon Suite - The most exclusive chalet in the camp, this suite has a 270 degree view of the river and Nyamangwe Island from its stunning deck. Relax in your four-poster double bed while listening to African wildlife. Nearby, a natural stone open-air bath allows you to view wild game on the river, listen to the songs of the bird and take in the romantic scenery under African stars.

Family Chalet - There are two large canvas bedrooms and a connecting lounge, each bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and shower. The master bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom, two twin beds. Enjoy a secluded deck area with lounge chairs and private dining for your family!

This safari experience is enhanced by the outdoor dining facilities which allow for beautiful candle-lit dinners or day meals surrounded by the stunning landscape. As a part of the dining experience guests will have the opportunity to taste local drinks and a house wines. After dinner there is also an outdoor lounge area where guests can enjoy a relaxing bonfire.

Although there is no power supply, the guides are equipped with radio connection at all times.
Guests can also be at ease that despite the camp's location in the midst of game animals in their natural habitat, all guides are well-trained in first aid.

Location + Surroundings

The lower Zambezi area is renowned throughout the world for its big game viewing, such as herds of elephants, hippos, rhinos, giraffe, buffalo, over 400 species of birds, lions, and other beautiful felines. The luxury camp lies on the banks of the peaceful river Chongwe, with a beautiful landscape of tall Lead Wood, Ebony, Winter Thong, and Fig trees. From your camp, you'll be able to view up close elephant herds passing through the riverbed or leopards elegantly sneaking up on their prey. Immerse yourself in wild Africa!

Two of the main activities include guided safari walking tours and a unique canoeing safari experience. As part of this unique canoe safari guests can also partake in an enriching cultural visit to the local Mugurameno village and its school.
