Throughout the process of designing your experience in the Delta, the reservation or payment methods, and your stay at Refugio, you will have an EXCLUSIVE PERMANENT GUIDE who will provide you with all the information you may need and their private contact cell phone to confirm your reservation.Included in the rate, you usually have:

Land: from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to the dock located in San Fernando, Buenos Aires Province; or private parking for your vehicle in the boarding area.
River: merchant boat for navigation in the channels and streams of the delta with access to Glamping Refugio 31.

Practice of a trade (1 of choice) with artisans or instructors of wakeboarding, fishing, or selected activity. Before confirming your reservation, we will give you the availability of the community to which we belong in the Delta, of which we are proud to enhance and share.

Your reservation will be guaranteed by a confirmation email, once Refugio 31's internal verification of your payment by the selected means has been made (average time 72 business hours) until the day of arrival. After that moment, it will no longer be guaranteed, and the service may be reassigned. Refugio 31 has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the deposit in advance and/or the transfer times have been overlapped with another guest. We will send you a cancellation confirmation by email right after canceling your reservation. The experience and accommodation services at Refugio 31 are suitable for all ages. The reservation holder must be over 21 years old. An official identification (Passport or ID or National Document or Driver's License) with a valid photo will be requested upon entry to register your arrival. Our experience rates are custom designed. We have structured and programmed the system with the most options to facilitate your choice, although they may vary and are subject to changes. In case of any changes in the rate, we will let you know before your stay for your approval. In case of variation in the rate issued automatically by the system, you or Refugio 31, interchangeably, can cancel this reservation process at no cost and according to the cancellation policies. CHECK IN/OUT:
We are open 24 hours every day of the year, we live in Refugio 31 and we can design the schedules of your arrival according to the selected experience and your convenience. To align with the hotel industry, we only mention the check-in time at 3 PM, local time, which may vary and will be specified in the final design of your exploration. Shelter 31 is located in the Delta islands, first section, and the only access is by boat as there is no land vehicle access route. The location of the dock we usually use, which may vary depending on the design of your exploration, is at 9 de Julio 100, San Fernando, Buenos Aires Province, 45 minutes from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Here, we have parking space and a safe boarding area. We have selected this dock as it has all the infrastructure services to provide you with a comfortable boarding experience, and it is the closest point to Refugio 31, estimating a navigation time, depending on traffic and weather conditions, of 30 minutes. Check-out procedures are also carried out according to the specific design of your experience. We also mention 11 AM as the pre-established time in the hotel industry. It is a pleasure to share and exchange our Delta experience with guests. The check-in and check-out times will be established prior to your booking with the assigned GUIDE. You can check out at any time until 11:00 AM, local time, always subject to the previously designed program. The total service balance is paid in advance of your arrival. We do not handle or use physical or digital money on the island or Refugio 31, nor do we generate additional expenses beyond what is already programmed with your GUIDE. You can request extended check-out times at the moment, although we may not always be able to accommodate last-minute changes as it depends on availability. When leaving, please check your belongings, especially car keys, cell phones, and passports or mandatory identifications for your other commitments or schedules. In case an additional boat trip is required due to a guest's responsibility, there will be an additional cost. Note that a detailed inspection of the premises is usually carried out after check-out time, and we reserve the right to charge for any damages found before it is reoccupied. The security deposit should be released by your credit card issuing bank automatically within 3 business days, but sometimes this may take 15-21 days. The security deposit/pre-authorization is not retained by Refugio 31, and we do not charge it to your credit card. Please ensure that bed linens and towels are placed where they were originally found. Bed linens, towels, fireplace blankets, and robes are not gifts and must remain on the property, as well as mate cups, thermoses, and other items. Please consult us if you have any doubts. Reservations are made with a 72-hour advance notice. We do not accept guests without a prior reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICIES
Please carefully read our cancellation policy. The reservations team and the authorized network to market our experiences have clear instructions to follow these rules. Therefore, to avoid any misunderstanding, we detail the following:
We REFUND 100% of the fee exclusively in the event of a variation between the final design of the experience and the fee automatically issued by the system. The guest or Refugio 31, individually and regardless of the other party, may cancel this reservation process at no cost to each party in this unique case. The pre-interview via video call with the GUIDE is mandatory before confirming the service experience.
If there is no variation between the fee issued by the system and the design of your experience, we do not refund cancellations by the guest because our services and experience involve the community of artisans and instructors of the Delta, external to Refugio 31, whose availability of time we have already reserved.
In such cases, we offer DATE REPROGRAMMING AT NO COST with more than 30 days' notice, always subject to Refugio 31 availability.
You can also opt to TRANSFER as a GIFT, with the same 30-day notice period, your contracted service to third parties on the same dates and conditions designed for your stay. Commercialization of services and experience without the approval of Refugio 31 is prohibited.
If the guest decides to leave early according to the designed experience, there is no refund unless exclusively decided by Refugio 31.
If the guest simply does not show up (and does not notify in advance of the date change or gift transfer), there is no refund unless exclusively decided by Refugio 31.
There is only one way we can acknowledge receipt of the rescheduling and/or gift transfer of the reservation paid by the guest: you must send the request by email to the following address: [email protected].
All notifications are confirmed by email immediately after your request is made. If a solution is not received, there will be no refund.

Policies within the camping tent:
You have complete equipment in each tent with a safe box, different types of pillows, sheets and blankets, robes, candles, incense, spirals, and other accessories for a comfortable stay.
Our energy exchange is based on gratitude for choosing us. But if things get out of hand, we stick to the old rule of "if you break it, you pay for it" and any property damage or missing items will be charged to your credit card or deposit at market value and/or replacement cost.
Pre-existing damages or malfunctions identified within the tent should be reported to reception immediately upon arrival to avoid liabilities and possible charges.
The campsite allows guests, with indicated permission, to receive occasional packages and special deliveries on the property. We are not responsible for the packages, their contents, or their storage. After 5 business days following your reservation, if you have not collected your packages or parcels from reception, they will be discarded without allowing the guest to make any claims.
You can sing at the top of your lungs and have passionate conversations all day, but from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM the entire property goes into quiet mode.
We will not clean your tent during your stay period of 24 or 48 hours. If you need clean replacement towels or sheets, we will provide them free of charge at reception.
We have maximum occupancy rules: four people maximum per tent with a single bed, two people per tent with a queen bed, or one person per tent with a king bed. If you have a baby, we have cribs available upon request at no cost.
Cooking area policies:
Please, we are very strict about hygiene and safety in food and beverages. Smoking is completely prohibited in the cooking areas or near the fires.
We have aprons to share so you can be part of the gastronomic experience. We provide hand sanitizer, gloves, cleaning and disinfection items in each cooking area.
Most of our ingredients are fresh and local, and have been collected after a navigation logistics, so their replacement or immediate replenishment are difficult to access and costly. We value the energy provided by the abundant delta.
Parking policies:
We have parking included in your program if you do not take the land transfer service from your hotel or pick-up location in the city of Buenos Aires. Refugio 31 does not accept responsibility for damages, accidents, or loss of your vehicle or personal property.
Alcohol consumption policies:
The good news is we have a bar! And it's open for consumption.
You also have included access and free consumption in our biodynamic wine cellar.
Entry with external drinks and/or food to Refugio 31 is prohibited.
We do not judge anyone, and we know what it's like to drown sorrows in a bonfire night. Take care of yourself, respect yourself, and be responsible for your consumption. In case of improper behavior due to excessive alcohol consumption, we reserve the right to refuse admission.
We recommend ZERO alcohol consumption if arriving in your own boat and being responsible for its navigation.
Policies on disability:
Refugio 31 has municipal permits and complies with the Law on persons with disabilities. We have a ground floor bathroom. Please notify in advance of your booking the type of disability, to schedule and have all necessary resources ready (navigation type, medical and/or emergency services), among others. Exploring the Delta embarkation, in docks and accesses with reeds and wetlands, is as challenging and exciting as climbing a mountain, with the physical and emotional challenge that this implies. Our priority is guest satisfaction and we are trained to support your expectations.

Guest safety policies:
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, the occupied tent number, or the presence of a guest to anyone other than the corresponding police or legal authority and only if formally requested. This includes taking or delivering messages or indirectly forwarding phone calls.
No Refugio 31 staff member will take or post photos on social media or any communication without the guest's prior authorization. We are very protective of our privacy.
Refugio 31 does not assume any responsibility for personal physical, psychological, or spiritual injuries incurred while using the complex's facilities in all its areas, nor in the practices of activities carried out and selected by the guest. Whether in the water, on the beach, or any area of the property or in the facilities of a craftsman or food producer neighboring the delta. This includes not only extreme sports practices such as wakeboarding, fishing from a boat, or stand-up paddleboarding but as a fundamental principle and basis of service provision, establishing that delta exploration always includes physical risks from tides, docks, bees or insects, fire handling, to name just a few examples. We are obliged to discourage your exploration, to only provide services to guests with a spirit of adventure.
By simply accepting the policies and conditions, the guest declares to be in full and healthy mental, physical, and spiritual health to carry out the contracted experience, without the need for any clarification or presentation of physical and/or psychological exams.
The guest also declares in this acceptance not to consume drugs or medication that affects their mental, spiritual, or physical health. Being located on the delta islands, an exotic and remote location from the city and specifically from medical centers and/or hospitals, the guest declares to accept full responsibility for the risks that this implies in case of injuries and/or death from any incident that may occur during the contracted experience.
We have the following for the guest presentation: municipal authorization. Civil Liability Insurance policy. Emergency exits. Fire extinguishers. Power generator. First aid kit. And a permanent boat alongside the guest for immediate evacuation.


Policies for Damages and Losses
During your stay, Refugio 31, its boats, and all equipment and furniture owned by Refugio 31 and/or neighboring artisans in the delta must be treated with care and kept in order out of respect. Immediate notification to staff is expected of any damage occurring outside of normal use.
You (the tenant or guest) are financially responsible for any damage within Refugio 31 and/or in the neighboring community facilities due to misuse. This includes losses caused by you (the tenant) or by the negligent behavior and actions of a third party under your responsibility. A review will be conducted at the time of checkout of the camp or property. However, a more detailed review of the condition of Refugio 31 and all equipment and facilities will take place shortly after checkout and before another guest occupies it for their stay. The tenant is responsible for damages found above normal wear and tear and use. In this case, a detailed damage report along with a repair or replacement cost invoice will be promptly emailed. Any costs will be deducted from the deposit if this is still possible.
Refugio 31 may take necessary measures to address any issues and ensure that all equipment and facilities function and are provided as expected. The damage deposit is fully refundable upon checkout and is subject to inspection of damages on the accommodation. The deposit must be paid at check-in, in cash or credit card, and will be fully refunded at checkout if the tent, furniture, and general facilities of Refugio 31 and its boats are in good condition, and the company has no claims. Costs for damages or cleaning beyond what would be expected after responsible use of the tent will be deducted from the deposit.
Hygiene Policies:
After the global public health crisis, we have significantly increased spending and investment in supplies (disinfectants, masks, gloves, alcohol, gels, etc.), equipment (pressure washer, vacuum cleaner, water treatment plant accessories, pumps, hoses, etc.).
It is an expense that goes unnoticed but contributes to our and each host's safety and that of their guests.

Best Rate Policy:
We guarantee the best rate published by the system.
We are part of a network of travel agencies and tourism companies and producers with whom we have cooperation agreements, facilitating our marketing and promotion tasks, mainly in international markets.
We believe in the specialization of professional advisors who enhance the guest experience by getting to know them in advance.
Smoking Policy for Guests:
Smoking is allowed throughout the complex, except in two instances or places: 1) in areas during food or beverage processing or consumption, especially when in the company of other guests. 2) in the camping tent, where smoking is strictly forbidden inside. A cleaning and deodorizing fee of U$S 300 will apply. Smoking restrictions include traditional methods and all electronic systems, such as vaporizers, electronic cigarettes, e-cigarettes, electronic pipes, and any variations of the mentioned products, regardless of the product name.

Pet Policy:
We allow pets to enter according to the design of your experience or stay. A fine of u$s300 will be charged if pets are brought in without prior notification. We reserve the right of admission. If you bring your pets, make sure they do their business in the designated area and remain on a leash when outside of the Tent. Pets are not allowed in food preparation or consumption areas. Ensure that they have up-to-date vaccines. Pets cannot be left unattended in the Tents or boats at any time. If your pet has a bathroom accident in the tent, a deep cleaning fee of u$s100 will be charged. If your pet causes damage to the property, an extra charge will be applied according to the damage. Cats and venomous species are not allowed within the understanding of pets.
Firearm Policy:
Access with firearms of any kind is strictly prohibited at all times in REFUGIO 31 and/or its boats and/or in crafters' homes, even considering applicable federal, state, and local firearm laws. This includes the camp's prevention and security staff. Those who do not comply with this policy may be asked to leave REFUGIO's premises without refund.
Noise Policy:
Located in the East Channel, first section of the Delta, an area with permanent island residents. We kindly ask all guests to respect property boundaries and neighbors' privacy and to avoid excessive noise between 23:00 and 07:00. High volume music is not allowed, except indoors and at decibels approved by Tigre Municipality regulations.
Unauthorized Occupancy Policy:
No more guests than agreed upon in your prior reservation may lodge on the property. Additional guest services may be requested, provided we have the capacity to accommodate them. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation without refund if an unconfirmed number of people stay overnight in the tent or any area of Refugio 31’s property, including the dock or mooring areas on private boats.
Lost, Stolen, or Forgotten Items Policy:
Refugio 31 is not responsible for personal items lost, forgotten, or stolen on our premises, during exploration, or navigation. We provide waterproof and technical bags that allow for flotation in case of falling into the water, to protect your cell phones or cameras.
Adverse Weather Policy:
We have invested in infrastructure and technology and do not cancel our services unless navigation is prohibited by the competent authority, the Argentine Naval Prefecture, or in extreme weather conditions beyond our control.
In such explicit situations, the service date will be rescheduled, or a transfer can be opted as a gift. No refunds are granted as the experience has incurred costs outside of Refugio 31.
In case of low water levels or excessive rise in water, transfers may be conditional to the departure dock.
Trademark Policy:
Refugio 31 is a REGISTERED TRADEMARK and is a formal establishment. The partial or total reproduction of contents of the facilities or activities generated with guests is prohibited, except for personal and touristic use of customs and habits.

Taylor Made & Weddings:
Simplicity and quality are the core of our service, with careful planning to make it extremely rewarding for both the host and their guests, as well as for us as organizers. Once the service profile is established by the host for their guests, we design the experience and/or program, providing a detailed all-inclusive quote.
We do not seek to generate additional sales once it has been approved. This policy allows us to enjoy the process up to and including the date of the service.
Our rates are similar to luxury restaurants or high-quality boutique hotels, with an additional 15% for logistics due to being located in the islands.
We adapt to commercial policies in corporate services and open annual current accounts. The first service always requires advance payment.
We have our own merchant vessel for continuous transfers for guests outside the schedule.
We hire vessels from shipping companies for up to 300 passengers, with departures from private moorings from Puerto Madero, Olivos, San Isidro, San Fernando, Tigre, and even Nordelta.
We are very conscious and responsible with our resources and clients. The physical interview (mandatory for private services) and the subsequent design of your service are crucial to enjoying the process, from contracting to the service date.
The private service offer can detail the specific conditions of the agreed service such as: date changes, penalties and rescheduling if applicable, additional off-schedule hours, prior and post days for special setups and teardowns, conditions with external providers, specific insurance (providers must present work accident insurance, with a clause of non-repetition via email to [email protected] 10 business days prior to the service date. A fee of U$S 150 𝑝𝑒𝑟 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑠, in case of NOT presenting it on time and in the correct way, and we reserve the right of admission for your entry. For food and beverage service for technical staff, cameramen, instructors, or others, a 33% of the unit rate applies to the diner or invited guest, because we understand they are part of the celebration. We do not make a distinction in food and beverages for collaborators or Refugio staff. We have an area for backstage setup at no additional cost. Specialized supervisor in Security and Hygiene. Applies U$S 250 + VAT per day in case 2 or more external providers are included in addition to Refugio 31.
Our rates are expressed in cash dollars, which allows us to maintain them during the periods between the contract signing and the effective service date, without applying interest rates or financial speculations.
In private services, the reservation is only confirmed with a 50% payment of the approved budget, and the amounts paid are non-refundable in case of cancellation by the client. The total budget must be paid prior to the service date, with a maximum of 30 days before, along with the guest list closure.
We have additional prevention resources, Emergency Medical Service or Permanent On-call Doctor during your service. It has an additional cost, please specify it in advance if needed before hiring. We have a certified lifeguard in case of a large number of guests aged between 6 and 17 years, so they can swim and play in the river, which has an additional cost. Please specify if needed in advance before hiring.
It is strictly prohibited for guests and diners not on the reservation list to attend, and a fee equivalent to 3 diners will be donated to the Pantano foundation in the protection of wetland deer. A receipt will be provided in the customer's name. We reserve the right to refuse entry to guests not on the goodwill list.
We have a 220 kw backup generator and in private services, the estimated fuel consumption of 400 liters every 8 hours of operation is not included. There is no benefit in this regard, charging only the regular diesel fuel per liter from the pump and reconciling at the end of the service. Energy is not included on the dock for private boats. The host is solely responsible for the behavior of their guests.
We do not conduct gastronomy tests, as replicating the cooking experience over fires is very costly.
FURNITURE: Each guest has a "Mar del Plata" wicker chair. Tables in the ground floor dining room are 1.82 x 0.73 x 0.74 cm high. Tables in the upstairs dining room are 4 x 2 meters x 0.90 meters high.
In the event that the service is canceled by the exclusive decision, fault, or responsibility of the client, we do not refund the amounts paid, as compensation for the damages suffered (whether for loss of chance, loss of profit, or direct damage). In case of cancellation for exclusive reasons of Refugio 31, we refund the client, after the non-performance has been duly notified, the total sums given in the same currency received, as a sole and exclusive compensation for indemnification.
In the face of any accident caused by fault, deceit, or simple negligence or lack of skill from any third-party services (providers) hired by the client, which compromises the life, health, or physical integrity of the people present during the service period, whether the victim is or is not in a dependent relationship or as a third party contracted by the client, the client assumes total responsibility for them.
The Client agrees to indemnify the Service Provider or the Owner of Refugio 31 against any legal or extrajudicial claims. We are good people and value long-term relationships.
Included in the private service rate is the setup and cleaning of dining room entrances/exits; Complete raking and sand leveling on the beach; Permanent staff in air-conditioned changing rooms and cloakrooms; Use of water treatment plant for the generation of 2500 liters of drinking water;
Deposits as a guarantee are 20% of the service value and are refunded within 5 business days after the service.
We have refunded 100% of the guarantee deposits in all private services we perform, and we also observe that with this requirement, the behavior of the guests remains conscious throughout the service with the host.

Policy for physical interviews at Refugio 31 for the hiring of private services:
We provide private services only by knowing the host.
You can come on your own by boat or we can send our cargo boat. The cost of round trip fuel for 1 to 6 passengers, with a 2-hour wait at The Refuge, is 200 liters of Premium. It is paid in advance directly at the pump. Upon sending the deposit receipt, the ticket is issued and sent digitally or you can physically collect it. In case of cancellation, there is no refund.
