New

Welcome to our complex of six domes on the north shore of Potrerillos Dam, Mendoza, offering stunning views of the reservoir and the Cordón del Plata mountain range.

Each dome features a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, one double bed, complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, and access to an outdoor swimming pool.

Guests also have access to a shared fire area with a barbecue grill, disc grill, flat-top griddle, and traditional clay oven.

Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove, and on-site parking is available.

Location

We are located approximately 80 km (about 1.5 hours) from Mendoza City, on the north shore of Potrerillos Dam. The property is directly across from Hotel Potrerillos and Bar Las Palapas, about 14 km from the village.

To reach the complex, you will cross a railway bridge and then drive 5.8 km (3.6 miles) on a gravel road suitable for all types of vehicles.

Our secluded location, away from the village, offers a peaceful setting where you can truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature.

Getting Here

1. By Bus
Take a bus from Mendoza Bus Terminal to Potrerillos Village. From the village, you can take a transfer to the domes. We can recommend trusted transfer services.

2. By Car (Recommended)
Driving gives you the most flexibility during your stay. We can also recommend local car rental companies.

3. By Transfer or Taxi
Private transfers are available from Mendoza City. You may also take a taxi or Uber, which can sometimes be more affordable. However, many drivers are unwilling to return for pickups due to our remote location, so we recommend using our transfer services.

Weather

The area experiences significant temperature changes throughout the day. Days can be quite warm, while evenings become noticeably cooler.

During autumn and winter (June, July, and August), freezing temperatures may occasionally cause the water supply to freeze, temporarily affecting running water during certain times of the day. If this happens, showers may not be available during those periods.

We provide two containers of water for cooking and flushing the toilet when necessary.

During autumn and winter, guests are responsible for lighting and maintaining the wood-burning stove throughout their stay. This is part of the overall experience.

During spring and summer (November, December, January, and February), the domes can become very warm during sunny daytime hours. We recommend spending the day outdoors, relaxing in the shaded common areas, enjoying the swimming pool, or swimming in the reservoir.

What to Bring

We recommend bringing sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and layered clothing.

During winter, we also suggest bringing a warm hat, gloves, and thick socks. Please keep the dome and curtains closed as temperatures begin to drop, and keep the wood-burning stove burning throughout the night by adding firewood regularly.

Accommodation Amenities

Your stay includes bed linens, towels, a gas cooktop, a mini refrigerator, and a kitchen equipped with essential cooking utensils.

Please note that there is no oven or freezer. Guests are welcome to use the shared outdoor cooking area.

Food Service

We offer a small menu including pizzas, empanadas, and other dishes with delivery directly to your dome.

Kitchen hours are from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

If you prefer to cook your own meals, we recommend bringing groceries with you, as there are no nearby stores. The nearest village is approximately 14 km away, about a 30-minute drive.

Sustainability

Our complex is fully self-sufficient.

Water comes from a natural spring, so we ask guests to use it responsibly. Electricity is generated by solar panels.

Because of our solar power system, hair dryers, clothing irons, and other high-powered appliances are not permitted. Laptops and mobile phones may be charged without issue.

Please note that we do not have air conditioning or fans.

We are committed to protecting the local flora and fauna. Cutting branches or plants is prohibited, and guests are asked to stay on the designated walking trails.

Children and Pets

Children are welcome from 12 years of age and older.

Pets are not permitted.

Activities

Here, you can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, and mountain biking.

The reservoir also offers kitesurfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing, fishing, and more.

We can also recommend nearby excursions on the south shore of the reservoir, including whitewater rafting, horseback riding, ziplining, and other outdoor adventures.
