There is a wide range of activities in the local area. The Nahuel Huapi National Park is one of the natural wonders of Argentina and it's strongly recommended if you travel south of the country. There are plenty of activities there. The destination offers beautiful walks on easy, well-tended, wooden walkways and paths throughout the park. Take your time and enjoy the multitude of waterfalls. The Cerro Tronador range is arguably the most majestic mountain range in the region, and guests can even hike up to see a glacier. Those who visit in winter will want to check out the Catedral Alta Patagonis, a ski and snowboard resort. However, it is an excellent four-season destination which offers unparalleled hiking. The Puerto Blest y Cascada de los Cantaro area has guided tours which offers an informative commentary in both Spanish and English, a cruise around two lakes, and a visit to the waterfalls.
