Mudgee is the crown jewel of New South Wales' wine country, so there are plenty of vineyards and wineries in the area for guests to visit and tour. Robert Stein's Winery & Vineyard is just one winery that is only 13 minutes away from the property.

Guests can also take a day trip to Wollemi National Park where they can enjoy picnics in the lush and exotic wilderness or view wildlife and take photos as they hike along trails snaking through the mountains and underneath waterfalls. Guests can also visit Dunns Swamp, a beautiful wetland, perfect for swimming, canoeing, birdwatching, and bushwalking.

There is the Drip Gorge, otherwise known as the Great Dripping Wall, an ancient sandstone formation snaking along the Goulburn River where guests can go climbing or caving, or just marvel at the age-old rock cliffs and majestic waterfalls.
