Our specifically designed bubbletent glamping stay for friends and couples - with a private and yet spectacular view of traditional alpine high country. Located at the foot our own granite mountain and gum trees, Captain Thunderbolt glamping guests will enjoy a queen size bed, luxury linens, bath robes, indoor and outdoor shoes, indoor seating and indoor eco-toilet.

EXPERIENCE AN OUTDOOR BATH UNDER THE STARS

A vintage outdoor bath and shower with on-demand hot water and toiletries to use during your stay are located on each deck. We also offer undercover gas hot plate cooking facilities and BBQ. Firewood for our firepit is complimentary when in operation - please note this depends on bush fire ratings and weather.

ENJOY BREAKFAST ON US!

Wake up to a thoughtfully curated and freshly baked breakfast basket with pastries, seasonal fruits and gourmet jams. Enjoy a welcome pack and complimentary wine on arrival.

Guests will be provided with tea, coffee and basic cooking supplies in our outdoor kitchen area. We provide a small camping fridge inside for guests who want to self-cater. Parking is close on site.

DARK SKIES STARGAZING

We provide a star-worthy telescope for star gazing inside, which comes complete with our user-friendly star gazing app. Details on how to find and download this free app are provided in our digital guest book. This app will automatically help to identify stars, planets and constellations.

The Farmhouse is located 900 metres above sea level in the New England high country. It provides uninterrupted and spectacular views to Mount Mackenzie and its old growth forest. Tenterfield can be reached in 10 minutes for shopping, cafes, restaurants and sightseeing.

SUNDAY FARMHOUSE:
Don't park on the grass as you may damage our septic system.
No smoking anywhere on the property.
Pets must be on a leash outside and lounges covered with provided blankets. Pets can’t sleep on beds.
Do not use sofa beds without confirmation and additional payment.
Please remove shoes inside, use provided slippers.
Septic tank - Do not flush wipes or sanitary items. Emergency plumbing charges apply.
No outside fires unless firepit is in use (April - August).
No fire can be left unattended.
No unregistered visitors, respect glamping sites (no trespassing or walking anywhere near this part of the farm or a $375 charge applies).
Off grid water supplies - conserve water (short showers, half flush toilet). Water is drinkable.
Clean BBQ after use. Additional cleaning charges apply otherwise.
$200 for lost keys, extra charges for unauthorised guests $80 pn after arrival and pets $100 pn.
