This unique property is an Aboriginal-owned and operated business welcoming visitors to Bawaka Homeland in the Northern Territory, home to the Burarrwanga family. We specialise in Yolŋu cultural experiences for visitors to East Arnhem Land. Accommodation options include beachfront cabins, cosy tents, or BYO bush camping. Visitors can take part in a traditional Welcome to Country ceremony, and learn how Yolŋu gathered bush foods, and about traditional remedies. Activities such as weaving, or traditional spear fishing and crab hunting are available. Learn about Moiety (Yirratja) and Kinship (Dhuwa) and how this connects us to the land and to each other, one big Earth balanced. Hear about our seven seasons and see what the environment is telling us. Plan your East Arnhem Land adventure today.

All cabins have direct ocean front access, a private deck, and are air-conditioned. All visitors have access to shared bathroom facilities, an open-style kitchen/dining/lounge area with a BBQ, fridges, sink, and an open beach fireplace.
