Tourists flock to Rockhampton for its rich history and its Rockhampton Art Gallery, one of Australia's most extensive galleries, as well as the Rockhampton Heritage Village and the Dreamtime Cultural Centre. The area is a perfect gateway to the Capricorn Caves, which are incredible limestone caves nestled in a dry rainforest where glampers can spot wallabies and other local animals. Another nearby attraction is the Mount Archer National Park, which acts as a stunning backdrop to Rockhampton.
