Whale Watching in Hervey Bay, Day Tours to Fraser Island, and access to Lady Elliot Island are just a few attractions you can enjoy.

The Space:
This accommodation is within a rural caravan and camping property on the banks of the Burrum River, Fraser Coast Region. Nearby Woodgate Beach, Burrum Heads fishing village, Hervey Bay, and just a short trip to Fraser Island. The ideal wilderness retreat where vacationers can enjoy the serenity of nature, also known for its fishing, kayaking, and canoeing.

A comfortable accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom includes an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot showers.

Guests are welcome to explore the lakes and riverfront, but fenced-off areas home to kangaroo habitat and other residents are off limits.

Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

By car:
From Brisbane 3 and 1/4 hours, 285 kms and 10mins, 10kms to Burrum Heads and Howard (nearest towns). Accessible for 2wd

By public transport:
- No public transport. Taxi service from Hervey Bay. Airport at Hervey Bay

Other Things to Note:
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
