Welcome! The ultimate farm stay QLD retreat nestled in 7 acres of stunning hilltop greenery above Nanango overlooking 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside with charming rural residences at a discreet distance and vast rambling cattle ranches.

A secluded retreat away from the bustling city streets, where you can hear nature's sweet soundscapes, birdsong, and cattle roaring that breaks the silence. Starry nights at night are a sight to behold, and at dusk, a big firepit with loads of firewood available and views to admire right at your doorstep.

The Space:
It sits in the rural locality of Glan Devon, in the South Burnett Region, Queensland. Nearby Bunya Mountains, Goomeri Bakery, and Nanango Markets are a few of the attractions you can visit. The ideal tiny house located in a grassy paddock surrounded by native trees, this secluded retreat offers distant views of South Nanango and the Bunya Mountains.

Enjoy breathtaking sunrise views through a soft morning mist floating over the property, which burns off pretty quickly when the sun comes up, so don't waste a minute and come enjoy your tranquil country getaways here.

A comfortable stay with easy access to water, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and an excellent bathroom with a cassette toilet and removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be some animal and farmyard noise during your stay with us. Given the farm setting, children are welcome under close adult supervision especially small children when around farm animals.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the main house, veranda, and fenced dog compound. If you are interested, we also have pre-orders listed below by prior arrangement with the land host 24 hrs before arrival.

- Vegetable farm tours and pick-your-own vegetables are available by prior request

Nearby shops such as Orchy's Fruit Shop in Nanango offer home-cured bacon, ham, or sausages from the Gourmet Butchery in Kingaroy, as well as local milk, yogurt, butter, and bread.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

The Neighborhood:
It sits in the rural locality of Glan Devon, in the South Burnett Region. A farm stay QLD retreat bordered by vast cattle properties with smaller farms located along the road to our property.

Although the road is not paved, it is well-maintained for both 2WD and 4WD vehicles.

Our local recommendations:

- The Goomeri Bakery offers delicious French pastries and dine-in treats.
- Nanango Markets opens every first Saturday of each month featuring various festivals throughout the year.
- Clovely Estate Red Hill serves delicious platters and homegrown olives at 91 Steinhardts Road, Red Hill both at Moffatdale.
- Bunya Mountains offer wonderful views and restaurants including Poppies on the Hill and the Bunya Mountains restaurant at the summit.
- Mt. Stanley Road on the way to Linville and Moore features fishing holes, gorgeous river crossings, photo opportunities, and cycling trails to Yarraman and Blackbutt, and Bjelke Petersen Dam has picnic areas and boating (including power boats and water skiing).

- 2 hrs, 21mins drive from Brisbane Airport

- 3 hrs, 11 mins drive from Toowoomba City
- 4 hrs, 55 mins drive from Tweed Heads
- 4 hrs, 40 mins drive from Surfers Paradise
- 4 hrs, 54 mins drive from Coolangatta Airport. All good roads for 2wd or 4wd

By public transport:

The nearest train is at Gympie North 1 hr 32mins, no public transport, a daily early morning Purser's bus to Caboolture which is 2 hrs from Nanango, and one which returns in the evening from the Caboolture railway station, with local taxi service available.

Other Things to Note:
- There are no shared areas
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- WiFi is available and password sent prior booking
- No smoking allowed inside; only in designated areas
- We ask guests to EXERCISE CAUTION AS THERE IS A DAM on-site
- We have 2 Boxer dogs kept in the main house or their own fenced compound
- We also have a large chicken coup, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, free-range guinea fowl, wallabies, and birds on the property
- Given the farm setting, children are welcome under close adult supervision especially small children when around farm animals

Farm guidelines

- Please expect free-roaming animals and noise during your stay with us
- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health

Important note:

- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pit is not available during the fire season
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
