Delightfully cool luxurious, self-contained bungalow cabin is suitable for couples to enjoy mountain camping near Brisbane, Queensland. Opening onto a garden area and outside sitting area, the two-room rental has timbers shutters for privacy with lots of individual charm.
Enter the bedroom through a set of antique Balinese doors and relax on the queen-size bed or curl up with a book in the antique Indian dowry chest now converted into a comfy seat. The stylish bathroom is conveniently located between the bedroom and lounge area.
The huge kitchen/living space area is a home away from home. The fully self-contained kitchen includes a large refrigerator, a microwave, a gas cooktop and an electric oven and everything else to ensure glampers have a truly memorable time.
The rooms also have reverse cycle air conditioning to keep guests cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This is the ideal way to enjoy camping. Brisbane will feel a million miles away in this spacious retreat.
Eat out at one of the cafes or hotels in the area or similarly, glampers can prepare their own meals in the fully equipped self-catering train carriage dining car.

Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo is located just 10 minutes away, in addition to walking tracks of the Glasshouse Mountains National Parks that start at the front entrance of the site.

Explore the Hinterland and nearby attractions (You will need more than 1 day) Most of these attractions are located nearby or a half hour drive away.
Take an Ocean walk and explore 11 zones with over 150 species of aquatic species. Take the plunge with the Shark Dive Extreme and come face to face with over 8 species of Sharks and Rays. Located 30 mins from the Ecolodge.
The Sunshine Coast is famous for its beaches and we are only half an hour drive from many of them and glampers can learn to surf, what great fun to do with children! Explore this famous sand dune island by four-wheel drive bus with a great tour guide and enjoy a delicious fresh food lunch.
It is possible to take a day tour of Fraser Island returning to the glamping site the same evening, allowing substantial savings compared to staying overnight at Hervey Bay. Take a guided kayak tour of the calm waters of the Pumicestone Passage.
The tour starts early in the morning and bookings are essential. Or alternatively, purchase the five-day/four-night Hinterland Explorer Package.
