Settled outside the agricultural town of Kingaroy, Queensland, glampers will find themselves on over 150 acres of working farmland, complete with sheep, horses, ducks, a peacock, and many more friendly animals. Guests are encouraged to take part in farm activities, such as feeding the animals, and they are free to wander the grounds.

There are many spectacular local attractions, including the epic Bunya Mountains, which boast winding roads leading to rainforest-clad peaks and the largest stand of ancient bunya pines in the whole world. Guests can also visit the beautiful Lavender Farm, which is settled on the grounds of Pottique outside of Kingaroy and boasts the largest lavender shop in Australia. Wine tasting is another local draw, and the family-owned Crane Wines offers tours and tastings at its winery and vineyard.

There is an on-site swimming pool that is perfect for taking a dip on hot days or sunbathing, while the sauna is pure luxury.

Fantastic hiking opportunities are only minutes away in the Bunya Mountains, where guests can visit the largest collection of ancient bunya pines in the world. Guests should also be sure to explore the famed Lavender Farm, buying sweet-smelling soaps and lotions, or taking pictures between the rows of flowers. After a day filled with adventure, there is nothing better than grabbing a glass or two at the family-owned Crane Wines, which is not far from the rental.
