The covered patio out front has lounge chairs perfect for enjoying coffee and watching the sunrise in the outdoor hot tub.

All guests will have access to the cafe and restaurant during their stay. The cafe is open all day and features an open back deck that overlooks Ravensbourne National Park.

The Ravensbourne National Park is nearby and guests can enjoy birdwatching and nature walks through the rainforest in the park. Crows Nest National Park is another preserve nearby with plenty of trails for walking or running and a few swimming holes. Lake Cressbook is just a few minutes from Ravensbourne Escape and while swimming is not allowed, boating, fishing, and various other water sports are allowed. Lake Cressbrook also has picnic and barbeque areas, beach volleyball, walking trails, and a playground. Guests can also visit the nearby town of Toowoomba and learn about horse-drawn carriages at the Cobb and Co Museum or visit the historic 19th century Royal Bull's Head Inn, now a museum.
