Looking for a peaceful holiday home with stunning countryside views, far from the city’s hustle? It is nestled among native bushland and open skies, offering a cozy off-grid escape to rest, recharge, and reconnect. Savor fresh garden produce, starry nights by the fire, and birdsong at dawn.
Whether it’s a romantic getaway, creative retreat, or a chance to unplug, it is your sanctuary to slow down and embrace the beauty of simple living.
The retreat is tucked away on a quiet corner of our 11-acre hobby farm, beneath tall gum trees and surrounded by native bushland and open paddocks.
Here, you can relax in complete privacy, enjoy stunning countryside views, spot kangaroos at dusk, and drift off to the soothing sounds of crickets and birdsong—all while reconnecting with nature.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
Guests will have access to the tiny home and explore many beautiful parts of our property. You’re welcome to visit the river, the platypus spotting platform, both fruit orchards, and scenic walking trails that lead to a peaceful waterfall. These spots are great for relaxing, spotting wildlife, and enjoying the quiet nature.
Please note that the main house is private and off-limits to guests. We ask that you respect our privacy during your stay.

This farm stay is perfectly positioned near the popular Yandina Markets and the Ginger Factory, making it an ideal base for exploring the local area.
Nearby nature spots include Mapleton National Park with its lush rainforests and scenic hiking trails, Wappa Falls with its picturesque rock pools, and Mount Ninderry, a family-friendly hiking trail offering stunning views.
Getting Around:
By car:
- 1.5 hours’ drive (about 110 km) from Brisbane.
- 30 minutes (28 km) northeast to/from Noosa Heads
- 25 minutes (20 km) east to/ from Sunshine Coast Airport
Vehicle Accessibility: Yandina and the surrounding areas are easily reached by 2WD vehicles via sealed and dirt roads. No 4WD is needed for general access to the town and main attractions.
By public transport
- From Brisbane to Yandina, you can take a train from Brisbane Central Station (Platform 6) to Yandina Station (Platform 1). Duration is about 2 hours and 4 minutes, the fares are $7 – $11, and the frequency is about 4 trains daily.
- For the bus, a Premier Motor Service runs buses from Brisbane Roma Street Station to Cooroy (about 20 minutes from Yandina). Then from Cooroy, take a local bus or taxi to Yandina. Total journey is about 3 hours 45 minutes, and fares: $30 – $45.
Getting to Nearby Towns from Yandina
- From Maroochydore, you can take the 631 bus from Yandina Station to Nambour, then transfer to the 610 bus to Maroochydore. The duration is about 1 hour 12 minutes, and fares $4 – $7.
- From Noosa Heads, you can take the 631 bus from Yandina Station to Nambour, then transfer to the 620 bus to Noosa Heads. The duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes
Taxi Services in Yandina:
There are Suncoast Cabs that operate 24/7 and hold the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads contract for the Sunshine Coast region. Reliable taxi service throughout the area.
Other Things to Note:
- Drinking water is available at no extra cost
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Charcoal BBQ is available, except for total fire bans
- For any damages or maintenance issues, please inform the host
- Please dispose of rubbish properly in compost and recycling bins
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Telstra has a strong signal, while Optus has a weak signal. Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have no coverage.
- Firewood, Zenthai Massage, and Ayurvedic Oil Massage are available on-site upon request for an additional fee

- Our tiny house is suitable for infants and kids, but guests are responsible for supervising children at all times, especially near natural areas like the river and waterfall.

- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
