
Luxury Camping Retreat on Derwent Riverfront in Tasmania, Australia
These camping tents are located at a luxurious camping hotel on Tasmania's Derwent Riverfront in Australia and can accommodate two guests. The large, 80-square-meter safari tents are furnished with ceiling-to-floor drapes, leather and canvas sofas, and deluxe king-size beds. Moreover, there are separate ensuites with handmade wooden bathtubs for guests to soak in after a long day exploring. Linens and towels and toiletries are provided. Other amenities in the tents include a bar fridge, sun loungers, tea and coffee facilities, an iron and board, and a hairdryer, safe, torch, umbrella, aa well as a heater, and large standard fan.
The lodge, connected to the tents by a boardwalk, is the communal area where guests gather for meals, to connect to the wireless internet, play games, watch movies, or simply relax in the lounge.
Outside the tents, there are large decks looking out over Derwent River, where guests can admire the beautiful Australian landscape.
The accommodations have all of the signature amenities needed to make guests stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The communal area, the riverside lodge, has luxurious lounges, a warming fire, books, a record player with a selection of records, and magnificent views across the river and valley. Wi-Fi, mobile service, games, and movies are available in the lodge. There is a well-stocked bar and breakfast and dinner are served on the riverfront deck, or the beautifully appointed dining room, with again, river views and a warm fire. Wooden decks and walkways link the lodge buildings and lead to the boardwalk connecting the tents to the lodge.
The spacious tents have a riverfront deck with rocking chairs and outdoor furniture, king beds with fine linen, lounges, rich carpet, and all the amenities of a five-star hotel. Available services include a coffee machine, a mini-bar, wraps, toiletries, a hair dryer, an iron and an ironing board. There is also a heater and a pedestal fan. The bathrooms are in water tanks and have handmade wooden baths and basins, and a rain shower.

Guests can do as much or as little as they feel like at this camping hotel. On site, bikes, swimming, fishing, and kayaking are available. Nearby are wineries, a farm brewery, the Salmon Ponds hatchery and museum, the antique shops of New Norfolk, the Agrarian Kitchen, and Tasmania's first national park, Mount Field National Park, which offers a rich choice of walks, waterfalls, and wildlife. The property is only 30 minutes from Australia's largest private museum MONA, Museum of Old and New Art, which is home to some of the most controversial modern collections. It is only 25 minutes from the new Maydena Bike Park, and 45 minutes from the Hobart waterfront.with its market and restaurant scene.
