This award-winning, clifftop rental near Devonport, Tasmania, is certainly a unique alternative to a traditional getaway, not only because of its birdlike structure, but in terms of what is included during the stay. The rental can accommodate up to three people, with two luxury bedrooms, each with queen sized beds. There's a small, modern kitchen with a lounge area and a large dining table, which is perfect space for groups to enjoy one another's company over a delicious meal. This unique, rental comes fully stocked with breakfast victuals, complimentary Tasmanian wine, fruit and vegetables. Guests can curl up with a book in front of the cozy fire in the lounge, or gaze out at the vast horizon as the sun sets as you enjoy some of Tasmania's most delicious, gourmet food.

The Winged House has a fully-stocked pantry with breakfast victuals, bread, milk, cheese, and a complimentary bottle of Tasmanian wine. It has a gourmet kitchen and a dial-a-chef service (just ask the host for contact details) if guests are planning a dinner party. The chef can either prepare gourmet delights in accommodation's kitchen or provide a catering service.

While the accommodation has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, an additional two guests can be accommodated on Japanese tatami mats and futons. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a house computer.

On the deck outside, there is a Weber barbecue. In the provided guestbook, there is a map, which shows easy access through the northeast gate and Crown land to the spectacular coastline where guests can picnic or spend hours exploring rock pools and collecting shells and driftwood or fishing. There is fishing gear available for guests to use.

The accommodation is a 90-minute drive from Tasmania's Cradle Mountain World Heritage Wilderness National Park and forty minutes from the Tarkine Wilderness on the northwest coast. It is 20 minutes from the Rocky Cape National Park, where guests will find stunning coastal walks. Alternatively, glampers can visit the Wild West Coast, which has colonial heritage value and is an exceptional surfing destination with its wild waves.

There are also many golfing sites and fishing locations, for those who want to spend their days relaxing in the fresh open air. Or perhaps discover the delights of kayaking along the rivers and explore the local towns. Those who feel a bit more daring can head deep into the rainforests and discover all that nature has to offer. Moreover, the property has a helipad on its lower terrace for joy and adventure flights over northwest Tasmania.
