Yarra Valley Accommodation Ideal for Victoria Glamping
Tiny house in Dixons Creek, Victoria
2 guests • 1 bed
This tiny house rental is a lovely studio space of 155 square feet. It offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a queen sized bed, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning and heating, making it the perfect tiny house accommodation for two guests. There is a large dam across the road and the tiny house looks over to it. Guests will be Immersed in nature with spectacular views of the lake, vineyards, and the mountains, which will surely make this holiday an outstanding break to remember.
The bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, with Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, the hosts help to save the environment by conserving water using this eco-friendly toilet. Wastes are broken down in the compost toilet via an aerobic decomposition process. It is a waterless system (no need to flush!), whereas a standard dual flush toilet would use up to 350 liters of water per week. An aeration fan helps in the decomposition process and minimises odours. The bathroom also includes a hand basin, and a shower, which is gas heated for hot showers. If guests wish to use their own soap, shampoo, and tooth paste, they should bring biodegradable ones so that the grey water runoff does not harm the environment.
The kitchenette has everything needed to cook light meals and includes, a portable cooker, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware, a microwave and even a mini fridge. The portable cooker can be kept in the drawers when not in use to maximise space.
Guests will enjoy your own private space but the hosts are always happy to chat. Guests should keep in mind that there is another rental on this property and they may encounter other guests, and some areas are shared. The mobile reception is poor, so guests are encouraged to disconnect and relax.
