Holiday rental for a getaway of glamping | Victoria vacations

This romantic holiday rental can be found overlooking Wild Dog Valley in the breathtaking Strzelecki Hills, just a two-hour drive from Melbourne, Victoria, providing a fantastic bed and breakfast experience. Along with the fantastic views, the unique rental also features Wi-Fi, so that guests in need of a break from the city can still remain connected if need be. In total, the property hosts three bedrooms and two bathrooms to comfortably accommodate a maximum of six guests. Guests booking this particular rental have private access to one of the three bedrooms and all of the common areas, providing comfortable accommodation for two guests.

Upon entering the serene slice of heaven, guests will be delighted to find an entire wall of crystal clear floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, sporting views of the valley. Vantage points of the green rolling hills are accessible all throughout the property, and guests are encouraged to enjoy them all. Two deep cherry-red vintage leather button and stud sofas rest in an L-shape around the television in the living room, complete with a DVD library, coffee table, books, and magazines. The spacious room boasts not only incredible natural light from the massive windows but also a cozy reading nook, a bean bag chair for casual lounging. A sleek dining room table rests in front of the windows, set for six guests to enjoy meals, games, and laughter together against a sunrise or sunset backdrop. The open-concept kitchen overlooks the luxurious living space and provides plenty of room for guests to prepare delicious home-cooked meals at the retreat, inside or outside. In the fully-equipped kitchen, guests will find a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stovetop burners, electric tea kettle, coffeemaker, and sink. In the middle of the kitchen, there is an island with three high stools, facilitating a relaxed breakfast bar for easy kitchen conversation between guests.

Glampers are encouraged to visit the seasonal kitchen garden before beginning meal preparation to add fresh flavors, vegetables, and fruit to the menu. Overlooking the garden, glampers will find a two-person bistro table that boasts not only the serenity of the garden but also of Wild Dog Valley, for morning coffee or afternoon tea with a view. Guests may also wish to fire up the barbecue grill outside for even more interesting and fun meals. Glampers are more than welcome to pass the time sitting at the patio table on the deck, soaking up sunshine and fresh country air.

The beautiful getaway plays host to three bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to match the modern interior of the rest of the rental. Although the common areas are available to everyone on the property, glampers will have private access to one of the bedrooms on site. In the bedroom, guests are invited to unwind in the soft queen-size bed as they gaze out either of the two windows on the patio and hills. Light bounces off the white walls, creating an airy and calming space for guests to find relaxation.
While the two spacious bathrooms in the farmland escape each host a toilet, the first bathroom also features a spa-worthy soaking bathtub looking out on the valley, twin sinks, and a walk-in shower. The second bathroom hosts a glass walk-in shower and one sink. A washer/dryer is available for guest’s laundry needs, along with provided linens and towels.

Parking is plentiful at the retreat.

Facilities on site include a fireplace for cozy winter nights, unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the retreat, and a DVD library for further entertainment. A washing and drying room is available for all guest’s laundry needs. Linens and towels are provided, along with plenty of parking on the property.
A seasonal kitchen garden is maintained on site so that guests may cook with and snack on delicious fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs straight from the garden.
