Located on a cattle farm overlooking the scenic Avon Valley, this peaceful cottage getaway in Perth Hills, Western Australia, can accommodate up to seven people. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed and a twin bed. There is also a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. A portable cot and high chair are also available. There is a large bathroom with a basin, toilet, shower and washing machine. Towels and linens are provided.

Inside the living room, guests can curl up in front of the open fireplace or watch TV from the comfortable sofas. There is a large dining area with tables and chairs and a fully-equipped kitchen complete with an oven, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

Boasting rural charm but with a modern design, this cottage also features a large private deck where guests can enjoy the stunning views and the use of a BBQ.

Guests can watch the mists roll across the Avon Valley from the cottage's private deck or enjoy and keep warm in the evenings around the fire. Other amenities include a BBQ and on-site parking.

Kangaroos, emus, and even the endangered black cockatoo are just some of the frequent visitors to the farm. Those looking to venture further afield can explore the tree-filled valleys and cooling waters of the Swan River at nearby Walyunga National Park or take a bushwalk through the Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary, located on the farm's doorstep. In Gidgegannup, hikers will find plenty of picturesque walks and trails such as Noble Falls, popular for its stunning wildflower meadows and waterfall. A range of restaurants, wineries, and breweries are available in Swan Valley located within a 20-minute drive of the cottage.
