This glass cabin is located on the beautifully restored heritage mill estate Beddermolen, on the edge of the De Merode landscape park. In this tiny house, you can completely relax and leave all the hustle and stress behind. Discover the evening magic of the starry sky and nature while enjoying each other’s company and the comfort of a wonderfully soft bed.
Welcome to the smallest and coziest house in Flanders, set on a special heritage estate in the green!
Here, you combine peace with nature and comfort under an open starry sky. This small wooden cabin with a glass roof has everything you need but nothing in excess: lighting, heating, a fan, and of course, a wonderfully soft bed! It is minimalist and thoughtfully designed so that, in good weather, you can fully enjoy the green surroundings and hopefully a breathtaking starry sky.
During the day, you can explore the nature of the De Merode area, a true paradise for hiking and cycling enthusiasts.
In the evening, you can warm yourself by the campfire and are invited to gaze for hours at the vast landscape, the impressive surroundings of the Beddermolen, and, of course, the stars. This home playfully introduces you to the wonders of our vast universe through informational materials, star charts, and telescopes.
Here, time stands still, far away from noise and stress. Here, you can truly unwind, recharge, and taste, see, and breathe in the grandeur of Mother Nature.
At the barn on the inner courtyard, you will find a key safe.
Inside, you will find both the key to the home and to the stable (the small hall opposite), which you may use. The code will be sent to you personally in advance.
In the stable, you will find a toilet and a small sink for freshening up. Showering is not possible here.
You will also find glasses, cutlery, plates, and cups that you are welcome to use.
If it rains, you can also eat here quietly and sheltered. Note: in the stable, there is no option to heat food.
Cooking is best done on the outdoor BBQ provided at the home. Some caution is needed, however, as the roofs of the holiday home and the barn are made of thatch and therefore highly flammable.
The bed in this home has already been made up for you. So, there is no need to bring your own bedding. Relax and enjoy the surroundings and each other!
