Description of Glamping Units
La Vie à Deux: This cabin measures 24m2 and sleeps two guests. It has a 10m2 terrace, to allow for amazing views of the passing river. There is a wooden bathtub next to the bed, and there is a wood stove.
La Zénitude: This cabin is 24m2 large, with a 4m2 mezzanine and 10m2 terrace, and can sleep up to five people when the two smaller beds in the mezzanine are occupied. The main bedroom is enclosed on one side of the cabin, and there is a sofa with a wood burning stove on the other. There is a wood-fired sauna, accessed from the terrace. This cabin is just like La Cabane d’Olivier.
La Cabane D’Olivier: This cabin has an area of 24m2, with a 4m2 mezzanine and a 10m2 terrace. It sleeps up to four guests and has a private bathroom as well as wood stove.
La Norvégienne: Measuring 24m2 with a 10m2 terrace, this cabin sleeps up to two people. It is right next to the Ourthe River, allowing for beautiful views. A wooden bathtub is next to the bed, and there is a wood-burning stove. This cabin is like Thalia.
Thalia: This cabin is 24m2, with a 10m2 terrace, and sleeps up to two guests. There is a wooden bathtub.
Le Temps Retrouvé: This cabin measures 30m2, sleeps two to four guests, and has a 10m2 terrace. It is placed in the heart of the forest, providing great views of the Ardennes peaks. It is built with an attached cabin with tunnel access – perfect for children. If you are traveling without children, you can always request to have the tunnel closed. There is an enclosed bathroom with a shower, as well as a small living room.
Le Nid: This cabin is 27m2, sleeps two guests, and has a 10m2 terrace. This cabin is on the side of a hill in the forest. The bed is suspended as a nest (“nid” in French signifies nest), and there is a sofa, wooden bathtub and fireplace on the ground floor.
La Cabane d’Isabelle: This cabin is in a small clearing with river views. It measures 27m2, with a 5m2 mezzanine featuring a small bedroom. The ground floor has an alcove bed, an enclosed bathroom with wooden tub, and a living area with a fireplace. This cabin has a 10m2 terrace.
Hut of the Hunter: This hillside cabin faces the Ourthe River, right on the edge of the forest. In its 22m2 it features a common space with living room, a dining room, and a kitchen with a wood stove. There is also a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet, and a double alcove bed. The 8m2 terrace provides immaculate views of the woods.
Shed Sarcelle: This cabin is 22m2 with 8m2 of terrace, and sleeps a maximum of four people. It is placed on the hillside, facing the Ourthe, right on the edge of the forest, and is adjoined with a small garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. All cabins have a wood-burning stove and kitchenettes, and depending on the cabin the guests can have a sauna or a Nordic bath. All furniture is wooden.

Location + Surroundings
This site is in the center of the Belgian Ardennes, in the Natural Park “des Deux Ourthes” which extends over 187,795 acres and is the largest of the Natural Parks of Wallonie. This region of Belgium is very important in that it wasn’t greatly affected by the war. This implies and signifies that it has many still-standing historical and traditional buildings that give an glimpse into the style and means of the time. You will be able to visit these little villages as there are many of them in the surrounding areas. To the North of the property, you will find the Special Protection Area of the Tailles plateau – a mount reaching up to 652 meters – which serves as home to many impressive species of fauna and flora. A mere 3km to the south of the property you will find the Nisramont Lake, covering 115 acres in the middle of a forest. Downstream you will come across Le Herou, one of the most winding paths of the Valley. To the west are expansive forests that are shelters for deer, boar, and wild cats. Kayaking: The region can be explored by kayak thanks to the extensive river-ways. Magnificent areas of the Ourthe valley will give you an even greater perspective into and understanding of this part of the world.
Mountain Biking: There are many routes in this region. Between La-Roche-en-Ardenne, the Ourthe, and the Houffalize you are sure to find a path suited to your abilities.
Fishing: There are many rivers and streams in the surrounding areas that allow for fishing of all types. The Nisramont Lake is also very close by. However, it is very important to be aware of the seasons and times certain species cannot be fished.
Hunting: The region of La Roche has many animals available for hunting, such as deer, that you can spot and track from your very cabin.
