This peaceful Brazil vacation rental is a fabulous choice for lovers of the outdoors. The idyllic Brazil holiday home is located in the Serra da Mantiqueira in the State of Minas Gerais on the land of an old goat cheese farm. The accommodation is adorned with modern and indigenous Brazilian and African art; complemented by a library with titles in English, French, Spanish, German, and Chinese. There is even a rounded Japanese style hot tub with mountain views for guests to enjoy!
The large three-bedroom home comes with wooden floors and ceilings and exposed wooden beams and terracotta tiles. The whole house is flooded with light and the house has been recently repainted and renovated. There is a master bedroom on the second floor with an attached bathroom and bathtub. Here guests have windows from all sides and wooden floors that keep the warmth on those colder winter days.
There's also a guest bedroom on the bottom floor and a third bedroom that the hosts call the 'office”. The office has a long table to write, read, work, and draw as well as a projector for viewing films in the evening. These two bedrooms share a separate bathroom set up in beautiful blue tiles. Other handy additions include a kitchen, WI-Fi, a TV, and free parking.

The hosts have a natural spring sprouting on the property and that joins the river downstream and merges with other streams that eventually become Cachoeria da Prata (Silver Waterfall) about 800 meters below. The hosts also have a second stream on the west of the property that does not spring from the property.

There's a path to our stream and guests are free to go down and take a dip in the natural pools. The Brazil vacation rental is made up of 49 hectares; seven hectares of farmed land and 42 hectares of protected forest that is connected to the Itatiaia National Park where guests will find plenty of great hiking spots.
