Scenic views
This lodge is located on a small, clear water tributary of the Amazon. For those of you who would like a little geography lesson, the Amazon Basin is the world's largest freshwater river system, containing 10% of the world's fresh water. The Amazon River flows down to the Negro River near Manaus from high up in the Andes Mountains. These two bodies of water combine to become a 200-mile wide river that runs all the way to the Atlantic Ocean to the city of Belem. It is a beautiful piece of nature in terrible need of protection and appreciation by all. Staying at this glamping site is an experience not to be missed. As Brazil is the largest country in South America, there is much to see, do and discover. The river located by the lodge is crystal clear with a white sand bottom – truly a gem of a location. Nearby you’ll find hardwood trees that get up to 200 feet tall, and exotic animal life everywhere. The accommodation itself is right on a quiet stretch of the Agua Boa River, and it offers a perfect family atmosphere.
